Minis in the Ozarks 2022
Minis in the Ozarks started out as a weekend getaway for the members of the Arkansas Mini Owners Klub in 2007 and grew an event that draws Mini enthusiasts from all over the United States and Canada to what is known as one of the best, and friendliest, regional Mini events. It is held every October in the beautiful small resort town of Eureka Springs, Arkansas in an scenic area with some of the country's best twisty roads.
With the Covid pandemic of 2020, we scaled back the event and eliminated the meals, parties and registration and still drew 75 cars. In 2021 we added a reception every evening and a car show and attracted 140 cars for three days of driving and camaraderie.
For 2022 we are keeping that same formula, but the folks at OKMINI have agreed to take over management of the event. They have been big supporters of the event since it was started by the Arkansas Mini Owners Klub. AMOK members will still be attending and leading some drives, but the details and management of the event will now be handled by OKMINI. Thanks to OKMINI for taking over, and thanks to the AMOK members who built the event through the years.
The headquarters is the Best Western Inn of the Ozarks and special room rates are available. Call the hotel directly at 479.253.9768 for reservations. Our receptions and drives will leave from the lower parking lot. There is no registration fee for attending MITO. In return, you don’t get a name badge or a bag full or freebies that you throw away when you get home.
MITO reception — Thursday October 27, Friday October 28, and Saturday October 29, 5 to 7 p.m.
Meet and greet your fellow motorers on Thursday and Saturday evening in the lower parking lot and convention center. A cash bar will be available and we have room inside if the weather is cold or rainy. This is a great opportunity to find some friends and make plans to enjoy dinner at one of Eureka Springs many restaurants.
Raffles
We will have a room in the convention center where the Basket Raffle will be set up on Friday and Saturday evenings. You can purchase tickets Friday and Saturday night, with the winners drawn at approximately 7 p.m. Saturday.
Group Photo, Parade and Car Show Saturday – 3 p.m.
The car show will be held at 4 p.m Saturday at the Inn of the Ozarks Convention Center parking lot prior to the 5 p.m. reception. Winners and prizes announce at reception.
SWAG
There will be no on-site t-shirt sales. Event t-shirts are now available at the link below. Note we offer a variety of styles, colors and materials so you can customize your t-shirt just like you have your MINI. Note on sizes – order a size larger than you think you need, or more. Expect to wait a couple of weeks for your order to arrive. Don’t wait until the last minute if you want to sport your t-shirt at the event.
